past continous tense係用於表示過去某一時候正在進行的動作 When I was walking down the block, it began to rain. Last year at this time, Iwas attending a cooking class. 當兩個動作同時進行時,此時句中兩個子句均用過去進行式 While I was studying in one room, my rommate was having a party in another. past perfect用於過去完成式表示某一活動或時間之前 Sam had already left by the time Ann got there. The thief simply walked in. Some had forgotten to lock the door. 如句子中有before或after,因時間關係已經很清楚了,往往無需使用過去完成式 After the guests had left, I went to work. After the guests left, I went to work.
What is pp tense, you have to spell the words before you can get the answer, righ ?|||||之前發生的事情.... 而又是一D正在進行動作.... E.G.:I WAS PLAYING THE PIANO.
